Community Challenge Grant Planners

We would like to apply for the SF Community Challenge Grant in 2026. If you're a creative, urban planner, or have ideas on neighborhood beautification and identity, this is a great place to make your mark!

Event Planner

Plan one or two events a year. Our goal is to host 6 events a year, every other month! We'll form small groups for each event so no one has to plan alone.

Adopt a Street

Help the neighborhood by submitting 311/SolveSF requests when you're going for walks. Great for dog walkers! 311 data is used to allocate city resources. Help make a case for our neighborhood.

Social Media Manager

Help us with our social media strategy and posts. Manage the posting schedule and come up with ideas.

Roles that we always need:

  • Photographers - take pictures of the neighborhood and events to share with in our newsletter and social media.
  • Event Helpers - helpers may be assigned to do a number of tasks, station a table, bring supplies to an event, help clean up, etc. This is great if you'd like to hop in for an hour and hang.
  • Website - interested in working on our website? We run on Ghost.io (very similar to Wordpress).
  • Newsletter - we need writers, editors, as well as people to publish. We send emails using an email management platform, but we draft and post the newsletter online through our website.
  • Other - If there is some other way you'd like to help the association, let us know!
